About PacketTrends
PacketTrends keeps an eye on the hosts and services you care about and alerts you the moment something breaks. Connect the app to your PacketTrends workspace to see your whole fleet at a glance — every monitored host, colour-coded by health, with latency and packet loss right there. • ICMP ping checks — reachability, round-trip latency, jitter, and packet loss • TCP port checks — handshake success, time-to-connect, and timeout/refused rates for any port (443, 22, 8089, and more) • One host, many checks — track a server's ping plus several ports independently • Per-host history — latency and connect-time trends over minutes, hours, and days • Push alerts — get notified instantly when a host goes down, and again when it recovers • Manage on the go — add, edit, and remove hosts and toggle alerts from your phone No account? Tap "Explore the demo" on the first screen to browse a live sample workspace — no sign-up required. PacketTrends is a companion app for an existing PacketTrends monitoring account.
What’s new
Version 1.2.8 · Updated August 31, 2026
-Signing in is more dependable. A PacketTrends account can be served from more than one server, and the app now completes sign-in against whichever server holds yours. Before this, that combination could drop you back on the connect screen immediately after a successful Face ID prompt, with nothing explaining why. -If your account is moved to another server, the app follows it. You sign in once and carry on, instead of an empty screen with no way to tell what happened. -The "where we check from" strip has been removed from the Dashboard. It is operations detail rather than dashboard content, and it is still on the Fleet NOC screen (the Ops link on the same screen) and on your group's public status page on the web. -Most of this release is groundwork you will never see. It is here so that moving an account between servers is one sign-in rather than a reinstall.
