About The Holy Quran
The Holy Quran is a calm, beautifully crafted reader built around the 13-line IndoPak mushaf. It presents the complete Qur'an in the authentic Taj Company layout familiar across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa and beyond, with the same words falling on the same lines of the same pages as the printed copy you already know, so anything you have committed to memory stays exactly where you left it. Read it as a crisp digital mushaf or as the scanned printed pages. Listen to the recitation with each word lit as it is recited. Turn to translation and tafsīr to sit with a verse longer. There are no adverts and no accounts, and the whole text travels with you offline. Reading: • Authentic 13-line IndoPak page layout: a crisp digital mushaf and the scanned printed mushaf • Full screen reading, with the recitation controls always to hand • Reflowable mode with adjustable text size • Continue where you left off, with page and juz' tracking • Bookmarks, and sūrah and juz' navigation • Works offline: the mushaf, translations and tafsīr need no connection • Portrait or landscape: the digital mushaf opens as a two-page spread, the scanned pages on iPad • On a Mac it lays out for the window, with menus in the menu bar and the arrow keys turning the page • The screen stays awake while you are reading or listening • Light and dark themes Listen: • Word-by-word recitation, with synchronised highlighting as the qari recites • Tap any word to hear it • Eight reciters, every one with word-by-word highlighting. Mishary Rashid Alafasy is free; Premium adds Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, As-Sudais, Al-Husary, Al-Minshawi and three more • Adjustable playback speed • Recitation carries on with the screen locked, with the reciter and sūrah on the Lock Screen and in Control Centre Reflect: • Verse translation from Saheeh International and Maarif-ul-Qur'ān • Word-by-word translation, and transliteration for every word and every āyah • Tafsīr from Maarif-ul-Qur'ān and Ibn Kathīr • Tafsīr follows the page you are reading, and runs on into the next sūrah • On iPad, tafsīr opens in a column beside the page instead of covering it, so you can read and study at once • Search across translations, tafsīr and sūrah names (Translation and tafsīr come with Premium. Transliteration is free.) Learn: • Dua: 113 supplications from the Qur'an gathered by subject, and 105 from the Sunnah by occasion, each with its source and its grading • Topics: 2,328 subjects, each gathering every āyah that speaks to it, wherever it falls • Themes: what each passage is about as you read through a sūrah • Mutashabihat: 813 phrases that recur across the Qur'an, gathered with every āyah they appear in. Near-identical openings are where memorisation slips, and seeing them together settles it • Similar āyāt: where one verse echoes another, sometimes word for word • Reach any of it from the verse you are reading, or browse and filter by sūrah and juz' (Learn comes with Premium.) Premium: A single premium unlock adds tafsīr, verse and word translation, search, the Learn tab with its dua collection, and additional reciters. The complete Qur'an, both mushaf styles, word-by-word recitation audio, transliteration and bookmarks are always free. The Holy Quran Premium is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in your own local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your device settings. What’s new
Version 3.2 · Updated October 24, 2026
Alhamdulillah, the app now fully supports the new iPhone Duo. Made for iPhone Duo. The mushaf's controls now sit in the bar down the side of the screen, so the page fills the rest and its text is larger. Clean View keeps the controls and shows the page number at the foot of the page: tap it to go to another page. When iPhone Duo is open, the tafsīr sits beside the page. Tafsīr text size. A settings button in the tafsīr, beside Close, opens a slider that makes the Arabic, the translation and the commentary larger or smaller. The size you choose is remembered. Minor bug fixes and improvements throughout. Questions or feedback? We would love to hear from you at [email protected]. Jazakallah for your continued support. Please remember us in your duas.
