About eighty32 Toolbox: RF & Audio
eighty32 Toolbox is the field reference and measurement suite built for AV, RF, and live-production technicians — everything you reach for on a show day, in one fast, offline app. 30+ tools, 800+ gear specs, iPhone and iPad. RF COORDINATION - Generate clean, intermod-safe frequency sets for any wireless system, with manufacturer band presets (Shure, Sennheiser, Lectrosonics, Sony, Audio-Technica, Wisycom) - Offline TV-channel lookup: type a US ZIP code and see every licensed TV station within your radius, sorted by distance, with callsign, city and power class. Built from the FCC licensing database, works with no signal backstage - Automatic exclusion of channel 37 and the 600 MHz mobile block, warnings for high-power stations just outside your radius - Scan-CSV import with a threshold slider, and a band map showing TV blocks, scan hits and your generated carriers together - Save shows: reopen a venue's coordination next time, duplicate it for a second stage, export as PDF, text or CSV - Intermod & spacing analysis, coax / antenna cable dB-loss calculator, SMPTE LTC generator & reader GEAR DIRECTORIES - 420+ loudspeakers and 380+ microphones: max SPL, frequency range, dispersion, weight, power, connectors, rigging, sensitivity, polar pattern - Filter by type, form factor (handheld, capsule, lav, headset, shotgun), polar pattern and brand. Sort by SPL, low end or weight. Star favorites. Compare up to three side by side - Capsules, lavs and headsets show which wireless transmitters they fit, one tap into that system's bands and the coordinator - Wireless bands & blocks, SFP transceiver reference, connector pinouts (XLR, speakON, DMX, DB25 and more), resistor / fiber (TIA-598) / AC mains color codes - Catalogs update over the air, no App Store update needed AUDIO METERS & TOOLS (best with a 2-channel interface) - RTA + dual-FFT transfer function with coherence - Loudness meter (EBU R128 / LUFS) - SPL meter, phase/polarity & phase-correlation meters - Delay finder (reference vs. mic) - Signal generator (sine/pink/white/sweep) - Input-level tester and 4-wire com test - QLab-style playback / cue tab with fades, loop & ducking CALCULATORS - Delay time (distance to ms), speaker & sub alignment (end-fire / cardioid) - dB math: SPL over distance, level summing, V/W, plus a full dB scale converter (dBu/dBV/dBFS, dBA/dBC) - Ohm's law & speaker loads, power/current draw and breaker sizing - Timecode & frame-rate math, frequency to wavelength - OSHA/NIOSH noise-dose exposure timer - Pick feet/pounds or meters/kilograms and F/C once; every tool follows Pin your go-to tools to the top of the home screen and search tools and gear from one box. eighty32 Toolbox is free to use. A one-time Pro unlock adds RF coordination, the audio meters, and the full directories. No subscription, yours forever. Built by working RF coordinators and A2s at eighty32 Show Tech, Las Vegas.
What’s new
Version 1.1 · Updated September 3, 2026
RF coordination just got a lot smarter. • ZIP code TV lookup now works completely offline. Type any US ZIP (or use your location) and see every licensed TV station within your radius, sorted by distance, with callsign, city and power class. No signal needed backstage. Built from the FCC licensing database (7,000+ transmitter sites) and refreshed over the air. • Channel 37 and the 600 MHz mobile block are excluded automatically. Stations just outside your radius are flagged so a hot full-power stick 70 miles out doesn't surprise you. • Save shows. Every coordination (band, spacing, IM settings, kept frequencies, TV exclusions, scan threshold and results) can be saved, reopened, duplicated and exported as PDF, text or CSV. • Band map. See TV blocks, scan hits, kept and generated frequencies on one plot. • Gear directories quadrupled: 420+ speakers and 380+ microphones, with filters by type, form factor, polar pattern and brand, sort by SPL / low end / weight, star favorites, and side-by-side compare. • Capsules, lavs and headsets now show which wireless transmitters they fit, with one-tap jump to that system's bands and straight into the coordinator. • Search the home screen for gear ("K2", "SM58") and jump straight to the spec sheet. Pin your go-to tools to the top; recents appear automatically. • Choose feet/pounds or meters/kilograms and °F/°C once in Settings and every calculator follows. • iPad and landscape support. • Gear and FCC data update over the air, no App Store update required.
