About PlayProtocol: Sports Warm-Ups
Warm-up, strength and recovery drills for school sports — over 120 drills, built and filmed by the physical therapists at Cape Concierge PT, a Cape Cod practice that runs injury-prevention programs for athletic departments. No binder. No hunting through YouTube for something that might be right. Open the app at the field, tap a drill, run it with your team. START FREE — A WARM-UP YOU CAN RUN, NO ACCOUNT Install it and watch. No sign-up, no email box, no card, and no trial clock. 11 drills are open to everyone, and every sport opens with the start of its warm-up free, plus an open drill in its strength and its recovery work. Soccer, basketball, volleyball, football, field hockey and lacrosse each begin with work you can run without paying. If a good warm-up you can run tomorrow is all you need, that is a complete thing on its own. PLAYPROTOCOL PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE Unlock every paid drill in the library with a single in-app purchase. It is not a subscription: buy it once on your Apple Account, restore it on your other devices, and it never expires. The library grows as CCPT films more. WHAT THE DRILLS ARE • Short and silent — the movement itself, with no intro and no talking head • Grouped by sport, so you see your team's work first • Warm-ups, strength work, recovery, and sport-specific skill drills • Saved for offline once watched, so a dead zone at the back field doesn't stop practice FOR SCHOOLS AND CLUBS ENROLLED WITH CCPT If your athletic department works with Cape Concierge PT, your coordinator sets up your account and the app becomes your program's companion: • Your sports on one sheet, with the day's assigned drills for each of your teams • A one-tap daily check-in — "performed" or "not performed", with optional notes for your coordinator • A private season journal • Announcements from your program • The full drill library, included with your program THE WARM-UP RUNS ITSELF Signed in, every sport has a run-through. Pick the blocks and a pace on the call sheet, press Start, and the runner carries practice drill to drill: a horn and a countdown for each one, the movement playing silently beside the clock, the whole team moving on together. A coach coaches the reps instead of babysitting a phone. • Field Mode for hard light: near-black, with the countdown in huge neon type • Hands-free: turn on Clicker control to hold the clock and skip drills from AirPods or a Bluetooth clicker, or tell Siri "Pause PlayProtocol" or "Skip ahead in PlayProtocol" • The clock and the next drill on your Lock Screen while the phone is in your pocket • Spoken cues if you want them, and your own music keeps playing under the silent clips • The whole practice's video is saved when you press Start, so a dead zone at the back field doesn't stop the run • When it ends, the log files the day's check-ins in one tap Not enrolled and want to be? There's a form in the app, and Cape Concierge PT replies by email. It sells nothing and quotes no price. PRIVACY, PLAIN-LANGUAGE • No advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs of any kind • No health records and no medical data — just drills, check-ins, and notes • Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID; optional two-factor authentication • Your data is never sold or shared WHO MADE IT The drills, the coaching cues and the video are created by Cape Concierge Physical Therapy and are their property. The app is published and supported by Tatzel Labs LLC. Program questions go to your CCPT coordinator; app questions go to [email protected].
What’s new
Version 1.0.6 · Updated October 18, 2026
A clearer PlayProtocol. The front door now leads with your program: if your school or clinic is enrolled with Cape Concierge PT, sign in for your sports, your season and the full library. Starting free still takes no account. Your sports sit on one easy-to-read sheet, and the call sheet before a run and the log after it are bigger and quicker to read. For enrolled programs, the run-through goes hands-free in more ways. Turn on Clicker control to hold the clock and skip drills from AirPods or a Bluetooth clicker, or tell Siri "Skip ahead in PlayProtocol" or "Pause PlayProtocol." The runner saves the whole practice's video when you press Start, so it keeps playing when the signal drops. Drill videos no longer stop your music: a silent clip plays under whatever you have on, and a clip with sound lowers it only while it plays. Guides wait for you to press play, and with Reduce Motion on every clip has a play button.
