About Fling - Quick Capture Notes
Introducing a minimalist quick capture notes app. A thought arrives. You swipe up. It's saved — in your iCloud folder as a Markdown file (.md). No notebooks to pick. No inbox to clear later. You open it, type or speak, flick the words up, and you're back to your life before the thought even cools. Fling is a quick capture app for minimalists: — One full-screen editor. No toolbar, no menus. — Built for speed. Fast open perfect for Action Button duties. — Exports Markdown (.md files). Great for AI power users. With Fling, you can finally stop texting yourself personal notes. What’s new
Version 1.2 · Updated October 15, 2026
Your notes from every place: the drawer now shows what's in iCloud Drive and your folders alongside the notes on your iPhone, and a note flung from the Mac appears on the phone by itself. Tap to download, or keep every iCloud note on your phone from Settings. Editing is sync-safe: if a note changes on another device while you're typing, you choose which version to keep.
