About Dienstantritt!
Unofficial information app – not affiliated with the Bundeswehr or the BMVg. Signed up and not sure what to expect from day one? Dienstantritt gives you honest answers — no red tape, no recruitment spin, no empty promises. WHAT THE APP GIVES YOU Arrival & first days What happens on reporting day, what to bring, and what applies on base. Homeland defence training (formerly basic training/AGA) Daily routine, duties, rights and drill — what's ahead of you and how the first weeks really go. Look up ranks Who's who? Every rank with its insignia, form of address and order of precedence — plus pay by rank and experience level. Pay & earnings What you earn as voluntary military personnel or a temporary soldier, when the money arrives, and how allowances work — with source and date. Figures not yet in force are clearly marked “projected” and without guarantee. Glossary, abbreviations & slang AGA, BFT, FWDL, SaZ, Sold — the abbreviation lexicon explains the terms. The slang section shows you what comrades really mean. FAQ – real beginner questions Can I bring my phone? What if I get sick? How does the swearing-in work? Clear answers, no dodging. Packing checklist What you actually need to pack — tickable, saved, and retained after an app update. WHY DIENSTANTRITT IS DIFFERENT Offline-first. The app works completely without a connection. Full-text search. Type a term like “BFT” or “Sold” and jump straight to the right section — offline, too. Honest over flashy. We only publish content we've checked — each with a source and date. Report an error. Tap the paragraph and send us a quick note — anonymous, in seconds. Always current without a store update. If a figure or rule changes, new content can be delivered directly to the app. Bookmarks & progress. Everything stays local on your device, with no account required. IMPORTANT NOTICE Dienstantritt is an independent, unofficial information service. The app is not affiliated with the Bundeswehr, the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg) or any other government body, and is neither published, reviewed nor endorsed by them. The content is for general orientation and does not replace official information from your unit. From version 1.2, Dienstantritt contains no third-party advertising. Optional usage analytics is disabled by default and can be enabled or revoked at any time in the app.
