Lumideo: Video to Future Self

Some moments deserve more than a photo. Record a video, seal it in a time capsule, and send it to yourself or to someone you love, for a day in the future. Lumideo is a video time capsule. Pick a date and seal it: nobody can open it before then, not even you. SEND IT TO YOURSELF Record a message for the person you’ll be. Your hopes, your plans, a snapshot of your life right now. Choose when it opens: next month, next year, or up to 2 years from now. With Premium you can go up to 20 years. SEND IT TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE Choose a friend, your partner or someone in your family. They get your video on the exact day you chose, and not a day before. You can also choose the time it opens. SEND IT TO A WHOLE GROUP Create up to 5 private groups from your contacts, with up to 30 people each, and send one capsule to everyone at once. For close friends, family, a class, or a trip you took together. INVITE PEOPLE INTO LUMIDEO Share your personal invite link or QR code so friends can join the app and find you more easily. CAPTURE THE MOOD OF THE MOMENT Tag how you feel while you record: happy, thoughtful, excited or vulnerable. When the capsule opens, you’ll remember not just what you said, but who you were. SEALED UNTIL THE DAY A time capsule doesn’t open early. Once it’s sealed, it can’t be changed or previewed. The date you chose is the only key. YOU’LL KNOW WHEN IT’S TIME You get a notification when your capsule opens. A video from the past, yours or someone else’s, ready to watch. REPLY WITH A FEW LINES Opened a capsule someone sent you? Write a few lines back. Only the person who sent it can read them. DELETE IT WHEN YOU’RE DONE Once a capsule has opened, the person who created it can delete it. It’s gone for everyone, video included. ALWAYS WITH YOU Add the widget to your home screen and watch the countdown to your next capsule, day by day. PRIVATE No ads. A capsule is seen only by the people you send it to. LUMIDEO PREMIUM Videos up to 10 minutes, instead of 2. Download your videos without our logo. Send up to 20 years ahead, instead of 2. 75 capsules a month, instead of 30. Rewatch each video up to 10 times, instead of 3. Surprise Mode: send a capsule without saying when it opens.
