What’s new

Version 1.5.1 · Updated August 30, 2026

Beads you can hear The tasbih now clicks softly as each bead passes under your thumb. It mixes with whatever else is playing, so it will never talk over a recitation, and it obeys the silent switch. If you would rather count without it, there is a switch in the tasbih's settings. The tasbih on iPad The counter was laid out for a phone and then stretched, which left it stranded in a narrow column with a great deal of empty space either side. It now uses the whole screen. Held upright, the strand runs the full width of the page. Turned on its side, the passage, the running total and the reset buttons move into a panel down the edge so the strand gets everything else. Either way the beads sit in the middle of the page, and a stroke anywhere in the space below them works them just as well. A round that ends cleanly Reaching the end of a round used to count one bead more than you had told. The strand would move, click, add to the total and then snap back to the start. It now simply returns to the beginning, with nothing counted for getting there. Fixes Sharing an ayah as a picture did nothing when the share button was pressed on iPad. The share sheet now opens where it should. The start and end boxes for sharing or repeating a range of ayahs opened empty, and refused Arabic-Indic numerals when you typed them. Both are fixed, and the boxes take either set of digits.
