About InsiderFlow
The financial world, explained as it happens. Every day brings news that moves billions, and filings that reveal what the world's largest funds are buying. They are public, they are free, and they are written so that almost nobody reads them. InsiderFlow reads them for you and tells you what they say. THE NEWS, EXPLAINED Not a summary: what it actually means, who it hits, and what to watch now. Two paragraphs, no jargon, under every story that matters. WHERE THE BIG MONEY GOES Every quarter BlackRock, Berkshire, Citadel and the rest are required to disclose to the SEC what they bought and what they dropped. The radar shows it at a glance: who is moving in, who is moving out, and which stocks a lot of them are moving on at once. WHICH FUNDS ACTUALLY GET IT RIGHT The fund ranking is not an opinion: it is a measurement of what each fund's typical move returned at 30, 90 and 365 days, across two thousand moves and real prices. It also tells you how much had already happened before you could know — up to 45 days pass between the move and the filing, and no other app writes that down. ANY STOCK, IN CONTEXT Open a ticker and you get what the company is, how it has moved over the past month, which funds hold it, and who bought or sold it last. TEST YOURSELF, RISK-FREE Ten thousand paper dollars and real prices. Go long or short, watch it day by day, find out whether your calls hold up — before a single real euro is on the line. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Open it as a guest and you see everything. An account only matters if you want your portfolio and watchlist on another phone. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Public SEC EDGAR filings and public market data sources. Filings have legal deadlines, so information can arrive with a delay — the filing date is always shown in the app. IMPORTANT InsiderFlow is an informational and educational tool. It is not a broker, it places no real orders and it moves no real money. Nothing in the app is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell. AI-generated explanations help you understand the context of a move, not decide what to do. PRIVACY We never sell your data. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings.
What’s new
Version 1.2.0 · Updated September 17, 2026
Fund ranking, actually computed. This screen used to show a "win rate" for each fund. Those numbers were hand-written and largely estimated, while the app claimed they were calculated from SEC filings. They are gone. In their place is a real measurement. For every new position nineteen funds disclosed over the past two and a half years — two thousand one hundred and fifty moves — what that stock returned over 30, 90 and 365 days after the filing. Prices adjusted for splits and dividends. The headline figure is the median rather than the mean, because a single exploded position moves the mean enough to flip the ranking: on means one fund came out 59% ahead of the market, on the median it is behind. Funds with few moves drop out of the ranking instead of winning it. With six moves in total, first place is decided by luck; those funds are now listed separately, with the move count written next to them. The delay, which no other 13F app writes down. Up to 45 days pass between quarter end and the filing: by the time the news reaches you, part of the move has already happened. Every fund now states how far the stock had already moved in that window. Radar rebuilt. The dots used to be positioned using a hash of the ticker symbol: the drawing looked like it meant something and meant nothing. Now the right side is what funds are buying, the left is what they are selling, and the closer to the centre, the bigger the position. Below the map, the same stocks in order of how many funds moved on them. News about your own stocks now opens. Opening more than two in a row, the app said "no explanation available": that was false — it was a rate limit, triggered because the app never identified itself to the server. Now it does, and when the limit really is hit it says so instead of pretending the text does not exist. A stock page now tells you what the company is: full name, sector, country. Nobody knows what "CAPR" means on its own. Three funds had wrong data. BlackRock changed its SEC filing entity in 2024 and the app was still reading the old one, frozen since then. Vanguard has filed through four subsidiaries since 2026 and we were seeing only one. JPMorgan's filings use an XML variant the parser did not recognise, so the bank appeared to hold nothing. Citadel was added too — it had been in the data since day one but appeared in no list. Notifications rethought. One a day, in the evening, and only about what you follow. The content is computed when it is sent: it used to be written once and then repeated every morning, which is why the same item could show up for days. If nothing happened on your stocks, nothing arrives. Price charts in the stock page and in the simulated portfolio, and the glossary is gone: eighty entries nobody opened, taking a tab in the menu.
