About VolleyPad
Read the match. Track the tendencies. Make the adjustment. VolleyPad™ is the volleyball scouting and stat-charting notepad built for coaches. Replace the clipboard and the drawer of paper scouting sheets. Chart the full rally, from serve to pass to set to attack, on a fast, touch-first court canvas that's simple enough to use in the middle of a rally, on iPad or iPhone. Every mark becomes player stats by rotation, and every opponent gets a Game Plan. CHART THE WHOLE RALLY - Track the full sequence: where the serve goes, who's targeted, whether the pass keeps you in-system, where the setter goes, and how the hitter finishes. - Diagram all six rotations for any opponent, including positions, approaches, and attack paths. - Chart serve-receive and passing patterns, including pass quality. QUICK TO LEARN, FAST TO CHART - Tap to mark what you see. No manual to memorize and no spreadsheet to wrangle. - Let the Rotation Helper pre-fill standard 5-1 or 6-2 serve-receive alignments, then adjust to what you see. EVERY MARK BECOMES DATA - As you chart, VolleyPad builds each player's stats automatically. Pass ratings roll into passer ratings, attacks and outcomes into hitting averages. - The data is created as you coach, not calculated somewhere else afterward. - Pull up any player's numbers mid-match, and see them by rotation. A GAME PLAN FOR EVERY OPPONENT - Reads every report on an opponent and writes a plan for each rotation: the passer to serve and their zone, their hitters and what each tends to do, and one take-away. - Tendencies in real volleyball language (line or cross, landing zones, tips) with a heat map of where each hitter's swings land. - Export the plan as a PDF with a heat-map page per hitter. UNDERSTAND EVERY ROTATION - See tendencies and stats broken out across all six rotations, so you know why one rotation is winning and another is struggling. - Scout an opponent: who they serve, where the setter goes in- and out-of-system, which hitters get the ball, and where they attack. - Self-scout your own team the same way to expose strengths and weaknesses a sideline view can miss. YOUR REPORT DOESN'T EXPIRE AT THE WHISTLE - Chart from film or while an opponent plays another team to build the report before match day. - On game day, that scouting data carries into the live chart. New marks show up in a live color, so you instantly see what's changing. WORKS IN ANY GYM No wifi? No problem. VolleyPad is offline-first: scout the whole tournament with zero signal and everything syncs automatically when you're back online. iPad, iPHONE, AND WEB Large touch targets and an uncluttered court view keep charting fast during a live match. On iPad, diagram rotations and attack paths with Apple Pencil for finer control. On iPhone, the same reports, charting, and Game Plans ride in your pocket. A companion web editor lets you review, build, and polish those same reports from any computer, before the match, after the match, or straight from film. BUILT FOR CLUBS, HIGH SCHOOLS, AND COLLEGES Organize opponents, reports, rosters, and stats by team and club, and invite your staff and players with roles. You control who sees and who edits: keep each team's opponents and reports with that team only, or share them across the whole organization with one setting. Owners and admins always see everything. Plans scale from a single high school team to a full club or college program. START FREE Your first organization includes 5 scouting reports free, with no time limit. Free Plan report slots are a lifetime total, so deleting a report does not open the slot back up, but nothing you've charted ever expires and your reports always remain yours. Subscribe when your program needs more: paid plans include 120 reports per team each year. Scout it. Save it. Share it. Use it.
