OtterSpace for Schools

OtterSpace is the school community app that brings everything in one place — without the noise. Built by parents and teachers, OtterSpace replaces the tangle of group texts, email chains, paper flyers, and one-off apps that schools currently piece together. Classroom updates, parent messaging, event tickets, PTA fundraising, conference scheduling — it's all here, in one calm, easy-to-use space. For families - Stay in the loop with classroom updates from your child's teacher — photos, announcements, urgent notes, weekly summaries - Message anyone at the school — your child's teacher, room parent, PTA board, or another family — directly, with built-in quiet hours - Find other families in the school directory (opt-in, privacy-controlled) - Buy event tickets and pre-load Otterbucks for school events via secure external payment - Sign permission slips and respond to teacher requests in seconds - Translate posts automatically into your preferred language For teachers - Post updates with photos, polls, sign-ups, or permission slips in a few taps - Schedule parent-teacher conferences with automatic booking and reminders - Track read receipts and roster engagement - Send urgent messages with priority delivery - Pin important info to the top of your classroom feed - Auto-translation for non-English-speaking families For PTA and school staff - Manage membership signups and fundraising campaigns through your existing nonprofit payment processor (Zeffy, 0% fees for nonprofits) - Send all-school announcements or target specific grades / classrooms - Run event check-in with QR scanning - Track volunteer signups and supply requests Designed for school communities, not data harvesting. - No advertising.
