Septem: Hajj Counter

Seven, kept by your hand. Septem is a quiet counter for the two seven-segment rituals of Hajj and Umrah — Tawaf around the Kaaba, and Sa'i between Safa and Marwa. Tap anywhere to advance, feel the haptic confirm the count, and let the seventh tap meet you with a soft completion pulse. No sound, ever. No screen-watching required. That's it. One screen. No account. No cloud. No subscription. No ads. KEY FEATURES • Tawaf and Sa'i modes — each keeps its own count, in line with the seven-segment tradition of both rituals • Tap anywhere on the screen — Septem is built to be held, not stared at • Silent haptic feedback at every tap and a stronger pulse at the seventh — Soft, Medium, or Strong • Apple Watch app — count from your wrist with the phone in your pocket, the same silent haptic at every tap • Sound is never used, in keeping with the dignity of the ritual • Optional dua line — a short In the name of Allah, with translation, before each round • Long-hold to reset — accidental taps stay accidental • One-step undo for the moments you weren't sure • English and Arabic with full right-to-left layout • Persistent count — you can put the phone down between rounds and come back • Designed for iOS 17 with full Dynamic Type WHO IT'S FOR For the first-time Hajj pilgrim who'd rather not pull a kitchen-timer kind of app into the Mataf. For the Umrah regular who already tried the all-in-one suites and just wanted a counter. For anyone whose hand has rested on a tasbih and wished a phone could be that quiet. PRIVACY Septem stores everything on your device. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no third parties — we never see your count, your mode, or your settings. The app makes no network calls of any kind. ABOUT Septem is an indie release from SmallPaper. Made for the rituals that ask you to count to seven, by people who believe a phone can know its place.
