About PictoTalk: AAC App for Autism
PictoTalk is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app that gives nonverbal individuals a voice through pictogram-based communication boards. PictoTalk helps people with autism (ASD), aphasia, apraxia, cerebral palsy, or any speech and language disability communicate clearly and independently. Made first for parents and caregivers, and just as useful for speech-language therapists and teachers. FEATURES • Visual scenes: turn any photo into a board with tappable zones • AI suggestions that complete your sentence • Activities: games built from pictograms, to practise words while playing • Automatic verb conjugation • Keyboard with word prediction • 12,000+ built-in pictograms • Fully customisable communication boards • Resize the board: add or remove columns whenever you like • Text-to-speech for the sentences you build • Record your own voice for any button • Folders for everyday situations: food, school, home, routines, self-care • App interface in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan and Galician A subscription is required to use PictoTalk. Your subscription directly supports ongoing development and new features for the AAC community. Privacy Policy: https://xandrefreire.github.io/PictoTalk-web/privacy-policy.html Terms of Use: https://xandrefreire.github.io/PictoTalk-web/terms-of-use.html Designed for speech-language pathologists (SLPs), caregivers, and families supporting nonverbal individuals who use PECS or other AAC systems. PictoTalk is built by a single developer for the AAC community — not by a corporation. Your feedback shapes every update.
