About Bond Agent
Bond Agent connects bail bond agencies with their staff, clients, defendants, co-signers, and indemnitors in one secure app. Clients can: • Complete required check-ins • View court dates and reminders • Review invoices, payment plans, and payment status • Receive and complete documents • Message their bail agency • Receive important check-in, court, payment, document, and message notifications Agency staff can: • Review client and bond records • Manage daily agency workflows • Track court dates, alerts, documents, invoices, and payments • Communicate with clients through durable in-app messaging • Review authorized check-in and supervision location history • Optionally sync saved defendant, co-signer, and payor names and phone numbers into managed phone contacts, with defendant relationships and saved VINELink websites Contact sync is optional and requires Contacts permission. Bond Agent keeps its managed entries separate from personal contacts and does not upload the phone's address book. Sync runs after saved changes, when the app opens, and when iOS permits background refresh. Phone backup settings and other apps with Contacts access may make these contacts available elsewhere. Turning sync off leaves existing synced contacts on the device. Location disclosure: For defendants and clients whose agency requires location reporting, Bond Agent collects location data to enable required check-ins, agency reporting, and court or supervision monitoring even when the app is closed or not in use. The user must grant location permission, and the bail agency can view the resulting location history. Co-signer sessions do not require location reporting. Payments are completed through agency-selected hosted payment services. Bond Agent does not collect or store raw card numbers or security codes in the iPhone and iPad app. An account or invitation from a participating bail bond agency is required. Features available to each user depend on their role and the agency's configuration.
