Waltru: Audio Guide & Tours

Not another travel app. waltru replaces generic tours with something personal. Tell it what moves you — architecture, hidden corners, local food — and it builds your day around who you are. No research. No spreadsheets. Just show up and go. Currently available in Barcelona. — AUDIO WALKING TOURS, BUILT AROUND YOU waltru is a self-guided audio tour and walking tour app for Barcelona. Every route is a personalized city guide: GPS-triggered audio stories play automatically as you approach each point of interest, so you can keep your phone in your pocket and actually look at the city. — HOW IT WORKS 1. Take a 5-question quiz Before your trip, waltru learns your travel personality — your interests, your pace, your vibe. It takes two minutes. 2. Get your personalized itinerary AI builds a walking route matched to you. Not a top-10 list. A day that feels like it was made for you — because it was. 3. Walk, listen, discover As you approach each place, an audio story plays automatically. No screen needed. Just walk and listen. — WHAT MAKES WALTRU DIFFERENT • Your Travel DNA — A short quiz maps your travel personality: what you love, what you avoid, how fast you move. Every route is shaped by it. • AI-generated itineraries — Smart route planning that balances your interests, walking distances, and real-time conditions. Not a random list — a thoughtful sequence. • Audio stories that find you — GPS-triggered narrations play as you approach each point of interest. The history, the legends, the details most people walk past. Hands-free. • Weather-smart adaptation — Rain coming? waltru suggests indoor alternatives and reshuffles your route. Sun's back? It recovers your outdoor stops. No manual replanning. • Serendipitous discovery — Hidden gems along your route that you'd never find on your own. A courtyard. A viewpoint. The kind of places locals keep to themselves. — WHAT YOU'LL SEE IN BARCELONA waltru covers the landmarks and the streets between them: the Sagrada Família and Gaudí's modernist Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter's medieval lanes, La Boqueria and Las Ramblas, Park Güell, El Born, the Eixample grid, and the viewpoints most visitors never reach. Whether you want a museum-heavy day, a food-led wander, or a long architectural walk, the route adapts. — WHO IT'S FOR • Independent travelers who want a guided tour without a group or a fixed schedule • Repeat visitors who have already done the obvious things • Anyone who finds guidebooks and blog itineraries exhausting • Travelers who prefer to explore on foot, at their own pace — PRICING waltru is free to download and explore.
