About Drive Score Assist
Drive Score is a real-time driving companion for drivers who want clearer feedback about safe-driving habits. While you drive, the app shows current speed, 2-second, 2.5-second, and 3-second average acceleration, plus route-distance status in one focused dashboard. Tap the speed or acceleration area to enter Focus Mode, where large 7-segment numbers fill the screen. A blue guide explains that you can touch the screen for one second to return, and the return gesture is shown with a filling animation. The app smooths unstable GPS readings and updates speed and acceleration only when location data is trusted enough. The GPS status panel shows public Core Location quality values, including accuracy, speed accuracy, course accuracy, refresh age, refresh cadence, and a beacon pulse when a new GPS update arrives. The expanded map keeps the current location and full route in view, separates route and penalty sections by color, and avoids distracting route refresh flashes. If you manually pan or zoom, automatic fitting pauses. After 5 seconds without manual map interaction, the camera smoothly returns to the current-location and full-route view. Key features - Live speed display - 2-second, 2.5-second, and 3-second average acceleration - Average-acceleration penalty bands - Large 7-segment Focus Mode - One-second touch return from Focus Mode - GPS-based speed and acceleration smoothing - Speed and acceleration updates only from trusted GPS readings - GPS quality panel with refresh cadence and beacon pulse - Unclamped high-speed speed and acceleration display - Current-location map background - Saved background-map zoom from pinch gestures - Expanded route map with penalty sections - Automatic route fitting after manual map interaction pauses - Route history with map review - Speed and acceleration criteria guide - Background location recording while driving The information in Drive Score is for driving awareness only and does not guarantee any scoring result from any third-party service. Always follow traffic laws, posted speed limits, signals, and road conditions first.
What’s new
