Logica Coffee

Logica Coffee is the free brewing coach that learns from every cup you make. Hot or iced, V60 to espresso: find the recipe, time the pour, get one clear next adjustment from your own history. No ads, no accounts. Optional tips are the only way to support development. YOUR PERSONAL COFFEE COACH When you ask for help, your personal coach James reads your rating, technique, and beans — then suggests one clear next adjustment. Try a finer grind for sourness, adjust the ratio, or refine extraction time. This built-in coaching works offline — no Logica account, no Logica servers. YOUR GOLDEN CUP, MADE REPEATABLE Pin a Reference Cup for a bean. After future rated brews, Logica compares the setup you recorded — and taste when available — with that golden cup, explains meaningful drift, and lets you plan one tiny correction for next time. The plan returns at brew setup; nothing changes without you. ON-DEVICE BREW ANALYSIS On supported devices with Apple Intelligence, ask James to "analyze this brew" for a tailored read of your logged cup, running on device. His offline coaching works everywhere; switch analysis off in Settings. GUIDED BREW TIMERS FOR EVERY METHOD Step-by-step timing, water targets, and pour cues for V60, Hario Switch, AeroPress, Chemex, French Press, Espresso, Moka Pot, Turkish, Cold Brew, Drip Coffee Maker, and more. Follow recognized methods such as Hoffmann-style V60, Kasuya 4:6, and Matt Winton’s Five Pour Method — or design your own step by step. ICED, FOUND IN ONE TAP An ICED chip in Choose a recipe narrows the list to recipes served over ice: Japanese-style flash brew, iced pour-over, iced espresso drinks. Building your own? Switch on Served iced and it joins the list. KNOW YOUR BEANS • Scan the bag to auto-fill the basics — name, roaster, origin — and fine-tune the rest • Estimated freshness windows help you brew while each bag is tasting its best • Log tasting notes, star ratings, and structured taste tags — per bag • After enough rated brews, see a calm, number-free read on how the bag landed for you • Show weights in grams or in ounces & pounds — your choice CUPPING / TASTING LAB Run blind tastings for 2–6 coffees, score aroma, clarity, sweetness, body, aftertaste, balance, and preference, then reveal what won. Your cupping sessions stay in the same private coffee record. DIAL IN BETTER ESPRESSO A guided dial-in session follows dose, yield and time across every pull. Logica spots the pattern and suggests next adjustment — or tells you to repeat unchanged or stop chasing grind. Mark a Reference Cup as your benchmark and dial future brews toward it. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Insights surface your best brews, rating trends, most-used methods, and consistency — turning your journal into real, actionable feedback. Track your cost per cup, plus caffeine estimates in weekly context with optional Apple Health logging. Made a mistake? Edit any logged brew — rating, notes, beans, dose — and undo the taps you didn't mean. SHARE ANY RECIPE Send a custom recipe with one link or QR code. Anyone with Logica can import it in a tap and brew it immediately. APPLE WATCH + LOCK SCREEN A full Watch app with synced timer and haptic pour cues. On iPad, side-by-side workspaces keep the brew, history, and coach in view. Live Activity follows your brew on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and StandBy, showing method, elapsed time, full planned duration, and overall progress without opening the app. A Home Screen widget keeps your favourite recipe a glance away. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No tracking. No Logica servers. No ads. No paywalls. No subscriptions. Your data stays on your device and syncs only through your own iCloud. Full backup and restore — plus portable JSON export — mean you're never locked in. Start with one recipe, one bag, or one espresso shot. Logica grows into your private brewing notebook as you brew.
