weBump: Proximity Social Media

weBump is a proximity social app for the people you pass in real life. Keep your phone with you, and Bluetooth bumps turn chance encounters into a Plaza of people you’ve crossed paths with. Their bubbles grow when you meet again. Make your Plaza yours: move people around, choose a background, and browse your people, friend requests, and groups in one place. With weBump, you can: • See who you’ve crossed paths with around school, work, events, or your neighborhood • Build a personal Plaza that changes as you move through the world • Make a public profile card with a name, short bio, color, music pick, and social handles • Add friends • Create or join groups by invite link and recognize members you pass Compatible Connected Games, when available, can bring eligible bumps into games you approve. Your basic visitor card—display name and color—may also appear in approved games played by people you bump, even if you don’t play those games. Visitor sharing starts on; you can turn it off or exclude individual games in Connected Games. Sharing game stats or selected game data requires a separate choice. weBump is built for real-world proximity, without a feed or public popularity scoreboard. Your age is stored as a private range and can produce a “Similar age” match without showing your exact age. Bluetooth broadcasts rotating identifiers, never your stable private installation ID. Optional local activity checks use broad area signals; weBump does not save exact addresses or maintain a travel history.
