About HealthDrop

HealthDrop is a one-way exporter whose primary feature requires iPhone HealthKit data. It reads selected HealthKit categories, mirrors them as JSON, and sends the files only to the destination you choose. Export sleep stages, steps, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, workouts, and related activity samples. Use iCloud Drive for a private handoff to your Mac, the iOS share sheet for manual export, or your own HTTP endpoint for automation. HealthDrop does not include accounts, ads, or a developer-hosted health-data backend. Your HealthKit data leaves the device only for the destination you configure.

Fresher exports with less tapping: • Auto-export now also runs when you return to the app — not just on a fresh launch — and catches up whenever your last export is over an hour old. • A periodic background refresh keeps your file current even on quiet days. • New optional Daily Reminder: a quiet once-a-day nudge to open HealthDrop and refresh. Turn it on/off and choose the time in Settings. • Lighter iCloud writes and reliability improvements.
