phew~ - Voluntary Tipping

Tipping used to be a thank-you. Now it's a screen that swivels around at every checkout — the coffee counter, the takeout window, the place you grabbed a muffin. phew is the movement to push back. phew is a community-built map of food and drink spots where tipping is genuinely voluntary — where you pay what's on the menu and leave. No guilt, no swivel screen. HOW IT WORKS • See the spots near you on the map, marked by whether checkout pushes a tip: no pressure, has pressure, or not yet verified. • Been somewhere? Weigh in with two taps — "no pressure" or "has pressure." • Every vote moves a spot toward a verdict. The whole map is built by people like you. • Know a spot that's missing? Add it in seconds. WHY IT EXISTS Tipping should be a thank-you for great service — not a fee you're guilted into by a tablet held up to your face. phew won't fix tip creep on its own, but a shared map of the places keeping it voluntary is a start. WHAT phew ISN'T No ads, no third-party trackers, and we never sell your data. Just a map, a community, and a calmer checkout. Find the spots with no pressure. Add the ones you know. Help your city's map grow.
