Ekkoes 2.1.0 A better way to capture and revisit your sound memories. • Shops, restaurants, cafés and other places now appear throughout the app’s maps by default. You can turn off “Show places of interest” in Settings. • Now available in Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese, including recording controls, widgets, and sharing. • Map connections are now your choice: enable “Link recordings on map” in a group to trace its recordings in chronological order. Groups start with links turned off. • Tap the new location arrow to explore recordings around your city, or touch and hold to zoom in closely on your current location. • Record audio independently of photos. Start audio automatically, see a two-second photo countdown, and retake a photo without stopping your recording. • See your active microphone, quiet or high-level signal warnings, and elapsed time with milliseconds. • Follow your recording on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and stop it without returning to the app. Your take stays ready to name and save. • Start recording with the new shortcut, assign it to the Action button, or add the waveform widget or corner control to your Lock Screen. • Open recording faster from the Lock Screen, Action button, Siri, or Shortcuts. Ekkoes now goes directly to capture instead of loading the Map first. • Stopped takes are preserved immediately as editable “Untitled recording” drafts. Save without a title, return later, or start another quick recording without losing the previous take. Discarding removes its Lock Screen status right away. • Recording now adapts to the active microphone’s sample rate and channels for better reliability with current iPhones, Bluetooth microphones, and external inputs. • Enjoy layouts designed for folded iPhone Duo, clearer landscape controls, and improved swipe navigation in your library and groups. • In Map, swipe right to close playback or up for more info. In Library and Groups, swipe down to close or left and right to change recordings. • Tap a map pin or thumbnail to listen. The recording closes when playback ends and the map returns to its previous view. Recording details now include a small location map. • Sound Postcard videos now end with their audio.
