About thinkr: Philosophy & Stoicism

Bring a real problem to Marcus Aurelius, Nietzsche and the Buddha at once. thinkr is philosophy you can use: a daily challenge, a full course, and 44 thinkers who answer back. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Take it to the council. Describe a situation you are actually in. Three thinkers each give their counsel, show where they agree and where they split, then hand you one practice to try today. • Talk out loud. Ask a question with your voice and hear each thinker reply in a voice of their own. • Ask any of 44 philosophers: Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Lao Tzu, Confucius, the Buddha, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Camus, Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Hannah Arendt, Wittgenstein, Jung, Emerson and more. Switch to Socratic mode to be questioned, or Critique mode to have your argument steelmanned and then stress-tested. • Be remembered. Your thinkers remember what you told them, so the next conversation picks up where the last one ended. You can read, edit or erase what they remember at any time. • Get a letter every week. Choose a mentor. Each week they write back to what you actually reflected on, with one question to carry into the week. • Follow a 7-day path. Stoic Foundations, On Anger, Memento Mori, Solitude, On Liberty and more: a short reading, a real quote, a practice and a reflection each day. • Learn philosophy properly. A guided course of more than 150 lessons, from Socrates and the Stoics through Eastern thought, Kant, Mill, Nietzsche and Existentialism, plus a critical thinking toolkit. Spot fallacies, steelman opponents, apply ideas to hard choices. • Read the source. Short passages from the Meditations, the Enchiridion, Seneca's letters, the Tao Te Ching, the Apology, Walden, On Liberty and more, with notes where the language is hard and a question to carry out of each one. • Stage a debate. Pick two or three thinkers and a topic. Watch them engage by name across rounds, then play it back in their voices. • Keep the daily ritual. One thought, one dilemma, one five-question challenge. Keep a streak, reflect in writing, and see it on your Home Screen. WHAT'S INCLUDED Everyone gets the Daily Challenge and streak, the daily thought and dilemma, the first course unit, the first 7-day path and day one of every other path, the first passage of every source text, and a library preview. thinkr Pro brings the thinkers themselves: ask any of 44 thinkers, every day; the council, up to six times a day; staged debates; thinkers' voices and voice conversation; weekly mentor letters; thinkers who remember you; and Socratic and Critique modes.
