About The Tool Library
Why buy a tool you'll use once? The Tool Library connects you with neighbors who have the tools you need — drills, ladders, pressure washers, and more — available to borrow for free. How it works: List one tool from your garage to unlock borrowing. Then discover what your neighbors have, send a borrow request, and arrange a quick handoff. It's that simple. Built on trust: Every lender and borrower has a public rating. Photo handoffs at checkout and return keep everyone accountable. Features: • Browse tools on a map or list by category • Send and manage borrow requests in-app • Chat directly with your neighbor • Photo documentation at pickup and return • Ratings and reviews after every loan • Invite neighbors and grow your community Privacy Policy: https://toollibrary.co/privacy Your neighbor's garage is now on your phone.
What’s new
Version 1.1.1 · Updated July 11, 2026
This update brings new ways to connect with your neighbors: - Search for any tool by name across all zip codes (not just your own) and see exactly where it is - AI-powered auto-fill suggests a description, and even a name, for your tool when you add a photo - New: Neighbor SOS lets you send a one-time help request to nearby neighbors when you need an extra hand - Tap a neighbor's name in your Garage to see the tools they've listed - Password reset now works entirely in the app Thanks for being part of the community!
