About Stackore: Gold & Silver

Stackore keeps track of what your metals and coins are actually worth, without a spreadsheet. Add whatever you own — there are 575 coins, bars, and jewelry types in the catalog. Everything is priced off live spot for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, and you get three numbers most trackers won't show you: melt value, the premium you're carrying above it, and what a refiner would actually pay you. Set a stacking goal (500 oz of silver, 5 oz of gold, whatever you're working toward) and the progress bar fills as you add metal. Your average cost per ounce sits right next to spot, so you know exactly where your break-even is. Want to know when silver hits $40? Set an alert and you'll get a notification the moment it crosses. If you're into numismatics, over 30 series are priced by year, mint, and grade, from Morgans to half crowns to Caballitos, with key dates flagged. Once a coin's details are entered it shows up in your lists by name, like "1887-S Morgan Dollar AU55". Shipwreck cobs, ancients, and old poured bars get condition-based estimates, and series with a counterfeit problem are marked. You can track cost basis and gains, sort everything into stacks, watch the gold/silver ratio, and sell with one tap at spot or your refiner's rates. Free on iPhone. Values are estimates based on public market research. Stackore isn't affiliated with any grading service or price guide, and isn't investment advice.

What’s new

Version 1.65 · Updated August 31, 2026

Stacking Goals are here. Pick your number — 500 oz of silver, 5 oz of gold — and watch the progress bar in Analytics fill as you stack. Also in this update: - Cost Per Ounce: what you've actually paid per ounce, next to live spot, so your break-even is one glance away - Easier price alerts: tap the bell on any metal's chart, pick a suggested price, get a push when it crosses - Fully graded coins now name themselves in your lists ("1887-S Morgan Dollar AU55") - Charlotte & Dahlonega gold, early US silver, and corrected Civil War-era values in the catalog - Smoother selling: back to your dashboard after a sale, cleaner fractional salesStackore keeps track of what your stack is actually worth. Not one number, three: melt at today's spot, the collector premium on top, and what a refiner would pay if you walked in tomorrow. Most trackers stop at the first one. 572 coins and bars: Eagles, pre-1933 gold, Morgans, Maples, Britannias, Libertads, junk silver, poured bars — plus jewelry and scrap by weight, and the odd stuff like 8 Reales and ancients. If you collect, grading matters. Set the year, mint and grade on a Morgan, a Saint, a half crown or a Caballito and you get a value built from real published prices, key dates included. The picker has the whole ladder, MS-61 through MS-66 and everything between. When there's no sale on record for your exact coin, the app says so and shows a range instead of making something up. Every position keeps its cost basis, so the return you see is your real one. Selling fills in spot or your refiner's percentage with one tap, and realized gains are saved for tax time. Sort your pile into stacks — by metal, by goal, by kid. Scrub the chart like a stock app. No ads, your data isn't for sale, Face ID lock if you want it. Values above melt are estimates from public market research; your own appraised value always wins. Not affiliated with any grading service or price guide.
