Tone Video

Tone Video is a state-of-the-art, editorial-led mobile video portal and second-screen companion application. Featuring a premium, magazine-style layout inspired by the world’s best streaming services, it offers a seamless, interactive viewing experience. By utilizing advanced acoustic watermark technology, Tone Video detects inaudible digital codes embedded in audio broadcasts, instantly synchronizing live programming with rich, real-time interactive content on your device. Key Features Premium Editorial-Led Interface: Explore a curated, high-end content catalog organized into a signature "Daily Edition" format. The homepage features dynamic editorial hero headers, smooth Ken Burns transition animations, critic pull-quotes, and bespoke category rails (including custom numbered lists, news stacks, drama feeds, and documentaries). Inaudible Tone Recognition (Second-Screen Sync): Using the device microphone, the app listens for high-frequency, inaudible audio tones embedded in television, radio, or digital broadcasts. These subtle audio watermarks trigger contextual digital experiences instantly on your phone. Seamless In-Player Interactive Overlays: When a tone is detected during playback, a non-intrusive interactive overlay or notification is surfaced. Tapping it displays full-screen, rich-media modals (images, video clips, and external links) without disrupting your viewing flow. Intelligent Background Listening: Keep the magic alive even when the app is minimized. The app integrates background services to safely scan for live broadcast cues while your phone is locked or in your pocket, delivering immediate notifications when live interactive events begin. Real-time Spectrum Visualisation: See the technology in action. The app tracks and visualizes real-time audio amplitudes and frequencies, giving viewers a direct window into how the acoustic detection engine processes ambient cues. How It Works Watch & Listen: Simply open the app and start watching a program, or keep the app active in the background while watching a live broadcast on your TV.
