Wi-Fi and infrared cameras do not broadcast the Bluetooth signals the app listens to, and iOS offers no way to scan for them. LensAware cannot tell whether a device is recording: it detects presence and proximity, nothing more. A device with Bluetooth off is invisible. Glasses already paired with their phone broadcast less often, and iOS limits background scanning, so LensAware sees them best while the app is open.
