Japan Tax Free Check

About Japan Tax Free Check

• Clearer wording for exchange rates, card fees, and tax-free checks across supported languages. • The quick-start button is now easier to find during setup, so you can start without entering a budget. • Tax-free and airport date checks now use Japan time consistently. Haneda terminal guidance and notices for purchases on the tax-system changeover date have also been improved. • Checking off every item on the airport checklist now also clears the readiness notice on the Home screen. • You can now set or change the purchase date. Budget figures shown before saving now match the Home screen. • If Trip Pass pricing fails to load, you can now retry right on the screen. • Devices set to Traditional Chinese now open in Traditional Chinese, and dates follow each language's usual format. • Receipt scanning is less likely to mistake consumption-tax totals, point-back rates, or refund and discount amounts for the purchase total or tax rate. • Improved category and daily budget editing: amounts are shown correctly after you change the display currency, invalid entries are flagged, and you can retry right away if saving fails. • Purchases in the Other category now appear in the Budget tab breakdown. If you started a trip without a budget, setting a total budget later now also allocates category budgets. • Receipt images are now kept if you leave the screen while saving, and iCloud Backup, CSV export, Purchase History, and the airport checklist work more reliably. Trip Pass status is also rechecked when you return to the app. • Purchases and budgets no longer end up in another trip, and deleted purchases no longer reappear, if you switch or delete a trip or restore an iCloud backup while saving or editing. • You can now search Purchase History by the category names and payment methods shown on screen. • On the card fee and DCC comparison screen, converted amounts and the comparison result now update as soon as the exchange rate is refreshed. • Budget, Purchase History, tax-free, and other screens now fit with larger text sizes and longer translations.
