Zhuyin Reader: Bopomofo Kids

Midterm review, one school lesson at a time. Choose the lessons your child is studying, practice the vocabulary, then try a 20-question mock exam. Review the results and mistakes together to decide what to practice next. Zhuyin Reader (注音小讀者) connects bopomofo, character recognition, and Chinese reading with everyday school practice. It supports families learning zhuyin and reviewing Taiwan grade 1–2 Chinese lessons, from regular practice to exam preparation. Start with the lesson taught at school Choose a Kang Hsuan, Nan I, or Hanlin textbook edition, grade, semester, and lesson. Practice related vocabulary and character tracing, or select a lesson range for review. Use each practice exam to plan the next step Complete a 20-question mock exam, see the results, and revisit incorrect answers. Lesson activities and mock exams leave learning records so parents can follow what their child has practiced. Lesson selection covers grades 1–4. Grade 3–4 activities and mock exams currently provide introductory practice. Questions are based on lesson vocabulary and grade-level skills; they are not copies of textbook exercises, school papers, or predictions of exam questions. Turn practice into real reading Build from sounds, tones, blending, and tracing to word choice, sentence ordering, and reading comprehension. In Story House, read with bopomofo hints and find clues to answer questions about the story. For your child's own reading material, open Chinese web pages or import PDF and TXT files into the library. Add bopomofo hints and adjust their size for comfortable reading. PDFs need a readable text layer for annotations; image-only PDFs can still be viewed. Give children something to look forward to After challenges, children may meet a little monster and invite it home. Hatch an egg, care for a companion, or play Find the Star and Rock Paper Scissors.
