Palate - Wine Sommelier

Every wine list has a bottle that’s right for you. Palate finds it. Pick your restaurant or scan its wine list. Tell Palate what you’re ordering. Get a short, ranked list of matches built around your palate, your dishes, and your price. How it works • Choose a preloaded restaurant, or photograph most printed wine lists • Tap your dishes straight from the restaurant’s menu, or type them in • Get your top matches, ranked and explained • Set your price: $100 & under, $200 & under, or anything • See more options beyond the top picks if you want to explore Restaurants, ready to go Selected New York restaurants are preloaded with their wine lists and menus, so there’s no scanning and no typing. Search by name or neighborhood. The list is growing. Built around you A quick one-time quiz learns what you like: the styles you gravitate toward and what you’d rather avoid. Every recommendation is scored against your taste, not a generic critic’s pick. Know before you order Each recommendation comes with a plain-language reason it works with your table. When a pricier bottle is genuinely worth it, Palate says so, and when it isn’t, it won’t pretend otherwise. Your Cellar Add the wines you order and rate them when you’re done. Wines already in your Cellar are flagged automatically, so you know what’s new and what you’ve had before. Free to download. iPhone only for now.
