OutDare: Paragliding

OutDare is the all-in-one paragliding app: know when and where to fly, record every flight, and share the sky with your friends, from your phone to your watch. Stop refreshing weather apps. OutDare reads the forecast for every flying site near you and tells you exactly when it's flyable, based on YOUR wind range, gust tolerance and minimum flying time. A WHOLE NEW LOOK Light, glassy and calm, across the app and on the web app on laptops. KNOW WHEN TO FLY • Flyability verdicts, green / yellow / red for today and the next 10 days, tuned to each site's wind directions and your personal limits. • It shows its work, every verdict names the one thing holding it back, and whose limit that is: yours or the site's. • Smart alerts, get pinged when a saved site turns flyable. Choose the days, the hour and how far ahead. • Where to fly today, on the Today screen: the best flyable spot near you. • Flyable Nearby: a map with numbered pins and a day strip. Search any town on Earth, or by drive time from 30 min to 3 h with real road times. • Share your Flyable list with your crew as a link anyone can open, even without the app. • Travel mode: pick where you sleep, see drive times to each site, set exact trip dates and get trip alerts. RECORD & RELIVE • Flight recorder with a live vario, route guidance and screen-free spoken callouts. • Never lose a flight: forget to press record and OutDare still quietly captures it. Rides up to launch are not logged as flights, and a real takeoff is never cancelled. • Signed IGC tracks with one-tap upload to WeGlide, DHV-XC and Leonardo, or send to XContest. • 3D replay, every flight filmed like a drone over the real terrain; share it as a film. • Your flying passport, countries, launches, records and your flight history on your profile. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN OutDare widgets, redesigned: your favourite site's verdict at a glance, plus a "Where to fly" widget with the best spot near you. ON YOUR WATCH Apple Watch and Wear OS: start and stop recording from your wrist, with a glanceable cockpit and a haptic vario you can feel. FLY TOGETHER • Live pilots worldwide, watch paragliders flying right now across the map (OutDare + the Open Glider Network), and share a live link anyone can open in a browser. • See who's at a launch and who's in the air, written in plain words on the map. • Groups, bring your club or school together with live chat, photos and pinned announcements. FLY SAFER • Automatic SOS, after a hard landing, OutDare can alert your emergency contacts and nearby pilots with your exact location, with a countdown to cancel false alarms. • Airspace and obstacle layers on your live and replay maps, with real height-above-ground. EVERY SITE, IN DEPTH • 14,000 community-curated sites across 135 countries and territories, bundled offline, so the map loads instantly. • Live wind stations near each site (OpenWindMap, METAR, MeteoSwiss, Holfuy and more). • Foldable sections, starred webcams per spot, pilot reports, community photos tagged takeoff, landing, access or caution, star reviews and landing zones. • Add missing sites and suggest corrections, confirmed by the community.
