About TideStrike: Tide Charts
NOAA gives you one piece of the picture. TideStrike and CurrentFlow give you the whole thing. Standard tide predictions get calculated months ahead from astronomy alone. They don’t know about the front that came through last night, the wind that’s been stacking water in the bay since sunup, or the pressure drop rolling in this afternoon. You already knew that. It’s why you check four apps before you leave the house. THE GAP NOBODY SHOWS YOU Harmonic tide tables are built from the sun and the moon. That math is solid — it’s the foundation TideStrike is built on too. But weather moves water, and a prediction generated twelve months ago has no idea what today looks like. The distance between predicted and actual is the difference between fishing a falling tide and standing on a flat with nothing moving. HOW CURRENTFLOW WORKS CurrentFlow takes the NOAA prediction and corrects it against real-time weather and live water level observations from the stations nearest you. Not a different forecast. A corrected one. TideStrike pulls from multiple reliable sources of environmental data and re-forecasts the water level at your station up to eight times a day. In a bay three or four feet deep, three to four inches is the difference between writing off the back of a marsh and fishing it. 70% more accurate than the commonly referenced NOAA harmonic tidal predictions across a 24-hour forecast. WHAT’S IN IT — Corrected tide forecasts, re-run up to eight times a day — Tide, wind, pressure, and solunar times on one screen, scrubbable minute by minute. — Custom stations for the spots you actually fish — Major and minor feeding times — A journal that ties conditions to what you caught — Coverage from the Texas coast through the Carolinas, with CurrentFlow modeling across the Gulf and South Atlantic FREE AND PAID, STATED PLAINLY Free — NOAA tide predictions and weather. Plus, $4.99/month — CurrentFlow corrected forecasts, custom stations, and the fishing journal. That’s the entire pricing page. You’ll know what you’re getting before you hand over a card. WHAT GUIDES SAY “TideStrike has made my life easier by taking several weather factors and combining them to provide me with accurate water levels consistently.” — Capt. Cam Cooper “TideStrike has become one of the first things I check before every trip. As a guide, having that information at my fingertips helps me make more informed decisions before I ever leave the dock.” — Capt. Zach Hernandez, Corpus Christi “Being able to quickly see all the important weather data in one place is awesome.” — Mike Smith, 10th place, The Galveston Classic BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO FISH IT TideStrike came out of the Texas coast, built by inshore anglers who got tired of doing this math in their heads on the drive to the ramp. Download TideStrike and see what the water is actually doing. TideStrike Plus Monthly includes a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers and then renews for $4.99 per month unless canceled. TideStrike Plus Annual renews for $49.99 per year unless canceled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase.
