Altitude Cam

Altitude Cam turns every photo into an altitude shot. Aim your camera at a mountain. The current elevation hangs in front of you as a 3D AR label, locked in real-world space. Tap to drop named peak labels — MATTERHORN, EVEREST, or anything you choose — and they stay anchored where you placed them, even as you move. When you capture, the AR labels are baked into the photo or video. No exporting, no editing — what you see is what you get. — FEATURES — • Live altitude readout in 3D AR space, world-anchored above the horizon • Drop named 3D labels with autocomplete from a built-in database of 80,000 mountain peaks worldwide • Auto-recognizes your current location: peak name when you're in the mountains, building or street address in cities, place name everywhere else • Capture stills or full-frame video with all overlays preserved • Built-in map view of every photo, plotted as thumbnail markers on Apple Maps • Altitude in feet or meters (auto-detects from your locale; switchable in Settings) • Beautiful Futura typography on every overlay — FOR — Hikers, climbers, and anyone who wants their photos to remember more than just where they were. Travelers documenting elevation changes across a trip. Outdoor athletes tracking workouts. Photographers who want a single signature look. — PRIVACY — We don't collect, transmit, or sell your data. There's no backend. Photos, videos, and GPS coordinates stay on your device. Settings are stored locally. Apple Maps powers the gallery map; that's the only third-party service involved.
