About Grainote - Guitar Tuner

GRAINOTE is a tuner and acoustic data tracker for guitarists. No sign-up and no questions: open it and start tuning right away. Ads appear only when you choose to watch one. Every time you tune, GRAINOTE automatically records the acoustic characteristics of your strings, building a unique "acoustic fingerprint" of your guitar over time. 【Key Features】 ■ Precision Chromatic Tuner Detects the fundamental frequency of each string in real time, supporting precise tuning down to the cent. ■ Acoustic Profile Recording Each tuning session automatically saves: · Fundamental strength (dB) · 2nd–5th harmonic ratios · Spectral centroid (brightness) · Sustain score ■ Harmonic Spectrum Display Play a string to see its frequency spectrum in real time — visualize the harmonic structure of your guitar's tone. ■ Alternate Tunings Switch between Standard, Half Step Down, Whole Step Down, Drop D and DADGAD. When it's hard to tell which string you are tuning, tap a string to lock it as the target. An input level meter shows right away whether the mic can hear you. ■ Tuning History Browse past session data and track how your strings' acoustic properties change over time. ■ Compare with Your Past Compare your latest sound with the average of your own past sessions, and see how brightness and sustain changed before and after a string change. ■ String Condition View After 4 or more recorded sessions, see how much the brightness and sustain of your sound have changed, shown with colors and a meter. The display is for reference only, not a diagnosis or guarantee. Whether to change your strings is up to you. Playing style, the recording environment and string type also affect the values. ■ Same-Model Comparison Once enough data is collected for the same brand and model, compare anonymously with other players and see your guitar's individual character. ■ Multi-Guitar Management Register and manage multiple guitars with details like brand, model, and string gauge. 【Privacy】 Only acoustic numerical data is collected (harmonic ratios, frequency values, sustain scores, etc.). Audio is never recorded or stored. All data is processed anonymously. A4 reference pitch is adjustable from 432 Hz to 446 Hz. Microphone access is required.
