Bahfoodie

Bahfoodie is a fast, playful food scanner that helps you take a closer look at packaged foods before they land in your cart. Scan a barcode or enter one manually to check for ingredients many people choose to limit, including seed oils, artificial dyes, added sugars, artificial sweeteners, gums, preservatives, and other ultra-processed markers. Instead of making you squint at tiny ingredient lists, Bahfoodie gives you a simple score, a plain-English class, and quick flags that call out what may deserve a second look. A proud sheep means things are looking fresh. A skeptical sheep means the food may need a closer look. And when something gets truly bahhhd, the goat lets you know. What Bahfoodie checks for: - Seed oils and common refined vegetable oils - Artificial colors and dyes - Added sugars - Artificial sweeteners - Gums and emulsifiers - Preservatives - Ultra-processed ingredient markers Why people use Bahfoodie: - Quick grocery store decisions - Pantry checks at home - Comparing packaged snacks - Spotting ingredients hidden in everyday foods - Learning what is actually inside familiar products Bahfoodie is intentionally simple. Open the scanner, scan the barcode, and get a quick read. No complicated setup. No diet lecture. No shame spiral. Just a clearer look at the label. Some foods may score well while still showing a lower processing class, and some products may have limited data depending on what is available for that barcode. Bahfoodie is designed to help you ask better questions, not replace your own judgment. Bahfoodie is for general food awareness only. It does not provide medical, nutrition, allergy, dietary, or health advice. Always review product labels directly, especially if you have allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or specific dietary needs.
