What’s new

Version 1.6 · Updated September 30, 2026

StoryStar now welcomes your family in 31 languages, including Kiswahili. Choose a language when you first open the app, or let StoryStar follow your iPhone’s language automatically. You can switch anytime from the top of Settings, where flags and language names make the choice easy. Menus, buttons, story creation, Sunny replies, and book-ready alerts now use your selected language. New books carry their chosen language through dedication pages, reading, and Read to Me narration. Existing books keep the words you created. We also fixed a launch crash affecting newer iPhones and made language changes more consistent throughout the app.
