RhumArrangé

RhumArrangé is the iOS app built for fans of "rhum arrangé" — the French Caribbean tradition of macerating fruits, spices and sugar in white or aged rum for several months. Start your infusions, watch the days go by, log every tasting — everything your scattered notebooks, screenshots and reminder notes can't do. — MY CELLAR — See every active maceration at a glance. Each card shows the photo, the name, the maturity progress and the days remaining before your bottle is ready. No more bottle forgotten at the back of a cupboard. — 12 TRADITIONAL RECIPES — The built-in library includes the classics of French Creole and metropolitan culture: • Pineapple-Vanilla (the great Réunion classic) • Caribbean Flambé Banana • Coffee-Cocoa (bold digestive) • Ginger-Lime • Mango-Passion fruit • Lychee • Combava-Lemongrass • Cinnamon-Orange • Prune-Armagnac • Holiday Apple-Cinnamon • Turmeric-Pepper (medicinal style) • Pure Vanilla (signature, 12 months) Each recipe lists the suggested rum, ideal proof, quantities, recommended duration and a maceration tip. One tap to start a new bottle from a recipe. — TASTING NOTEBOOK — Log every tasting: a 0–20 score, mouth aromas, free-form notes. Compare your batches and refine your recipes season after season. — SMART REMINDERS — Local notifications so you never forget: • Time to shake your bottle (every 2 weeks) • Filtering recommended after X weeks • Maturity in 7 days • Bottle ready to taste — HOME & LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS (NEW IN 1.1) — Track your macerations without opening the app. Four widgets: next maturity, pinned bottle, full cellar overview, and an interactive shake reminder — one tap and the bottle is logged. — RHUMARRANGÉ PRO — One-time purchase, $4.99. Forever, no subscription. • Unlimited bottles (the free tier is capped at 3 active macerations) • Multiple photos per bottle • Recipe sharing (QR code and deep link) • PDF export of your cellar (great as a gift) • Advanced statistics — average ratings, durations, comparisons by rum type • Automatic iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac — DESIGNED FOR ENTHUSIASTS, IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH — Pick your language inside the app, regardless of system settings. The vocabulary, the recipes and the tips all come from the French Caribbean and metropolitan culture of "rhum arrangé" — translated for English-speaking enthusiasts who want the real thing. — FULL PRIVACY — No data leaves your iPhone. No ads, no tracking, no analytics. Everything stays local, sandboxed by iOS. — LEGAL — Intended for adults aged 18 and over. Excessive alcohol consumption is harmful to your health — drink responsibly. A question, a suggestion, feedback? Email [email protected] — every message is read personally.
