Aquila — English Learning

Aquila is a teacher's English course, not an algorithm's. Teacher Jhon has taught more than 7,800 lessons to 885 students worldwide, with a 5.0 rating on italki for five years running. Aquila turns his method and his grammar guide into a 30-day route you can follow from day one. HOW IT WORKS • 3-minute placement test: twenty questions, four per level, and you know exactly where to start (A1 to C1). • 30-day route: every day one review, one lesson, one practice round. Miss a day and the route shifts; it never resets. • Smart review: Aquila remembers what you are about to forget and brings it back at the right moment (FSRS spaced repetition). • Pronunciation Lab with the full phonetic alphabet and audio. • Explanations that name the traps: word order, the empty subject "it", 13 versus 30, American dates, the -ed and -s endings. • A private tutor on your iPhone: explanations, hints, a conversation partner and new texts written on the device itself with Apple Intelligence. Nothing you write or say leaves your phone. On iPhone 15 Pro and later with Apple Intelligence; everything else works on every iPhone with iOS 18. SEVEN WAYS TO PRACTISE EVERY CHAPTER • Read a short text with a glossary in your language, listen to it in three passes, say it in the speaking lab and record yourself. • Write a short message and get feedback on two things, not on everything. • Talk with a character who uses the words you are reviewing. YOUR ENGLISH OUTSIDE AQUILA COUNTS • Log the series with captions, the games, the chats and the songs: every week you see your minutes of English in and out of the app. • A forgiving streak and one reminder a day, at the time you choose. FOR YOUR TEACHER • A packet with your summary, your recordings and your texts, built on your phone and shared only when you decide. With a teacher attached, the app tells them everything and invents nothing.
