Sawa: Make Real Friends

Real friendships, not dating. Sawa is Switzerland's app for making real friends — and actually meeting them. Most apps drop you into a group chat with strangers and hope something happens. It rarely does. Sawa works the other way round: we invite you to a real plan — a place, a day, a time — with a few people nearby who fit. Everyone answers yes or no. The people who say yes become your crew, and the plan is already set. HOW IT WORKS Tell us your city, languages, interests, and when you're usually free We send you an invitation: a small group, a specific place, a specific time Say hi with a short voice message, so nobody arrives among strangers Tap "I'm in" — once enough people are in, your crew is created Meet up. Then do it again. WHY SAWA A real plan, not another chat that fades You hear people's voices before you meet them Small groups — never an awkward 1:1 First meet-ups are easy and cheap: cafés, walks by the lake No dating, no swiping, no pressure Real profiles. Privacy-first. We never sell your data. PERFECT FOR People who moved to a new city and want a circle again Expats and students looking for real friends Anyone tired of "we should meet up sometime" YOUR PRIVACY Your profile is visible only inside the app, and your crew chat is members-only. Voice intros are shared only with the people invited to the same plan. We don't sell your data and we don't show third-party ads.
