LocalPony

It's 9 at night. The temp dropped. Your phone is buzzing with 20 "are we blanketing?" texts. LocalPony fixes that. The horse app Texas has been waiting for. Daily blanket calls per horse, barn dashboards your staff can actually use, in-app invoicing, 6,000+ local providers, classifieds, forums, events, and the riders you actually want to follow. Care, community, and connections, in one app. DAILY BLANKET CALLS Weather-based blanket recommendations tailored to each horse. Custom thresholds per horse so Chief (who runs cold) and Dusty (who runs hot) get their own call. Includes tonight's low, rain chance, wind, and a 7-day blanket forecast. BARN-TO-BOARDER COMMUNICATION If your barn is on LocalPony, you'll get live care updates from the staff: blanket board, feed updates, daily check-ins, announcements, and emergency contacts, all tied to your horse. Barns get a dashboard to manage boarders, post daily blanket calls, send invoices, and share updates. INVOICING Boarding barns and providers can send invoices to boarders and clients right from the app. Line items, due dates, "paid" tracking, and one-tap payment shortcuts to Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle. LocalPony tracks who's paid. The money goes directly between you and your barn; we never touch funds. 6,000+ TEXAS PROVIDERS Find farriers, vets, trainers, boarding barns, tack shops, chiropractors, haulers, and more. Search by name, city, or zip. Providers can claim their listing, add photos, and collect reviews. TRADING POST Buy, sell, and swap horses, tack, and trailers. Filter horses by hands, age, gender, and price. Every listing includes buyer safety tips. Report suspicious listings with one tap. LOCAL EVENTS Discover rodeos, shows, clinics, trail rides, barrel racing, roping, dressage, and more. RSVP and see what your friends are going to. Real events from TQHA, CPRA, RHAA, and more. HORSE PROFILES Build a profile for each horse: photos, breed, personality tags, medications, emergency vet contacts, farrier/worming history, exercise logs, and document storage for Coggins, vaccine records, and health certs, with automatic expiration reminders. BARN TALK FORUMS Six community channels for questions, advice, local recommendations, buying/selling, event announcements, and more. Searchable, moderated, built for horse folks. STAY CONNECTED Follow riders, build your feed, and message anyone directly. Share blanket calls, horse profiles, and listings as branded cards to your feed or out to text. BUILT-IN SAFETY In-app messaging only for classifieds (no phone numbers or Venmo handles in listings). Image moderation on every photo upload.
