OrdPal

OrdPal turns the world around you into practical vocabulary — and now into real conversation practice. Scan text in books, menus, signs, and documents; analyze everyday scenes and practice using their words with an AI tutor; or type any word for a clear explanation matched to the reader's age and level. WHAT'S NEW IN 2.0 • Scene conversations: after analyzing a scene, chat with a proactive AI tutor that teaches you to use its words in everyday situations • Feedback on every answer: practice answers are scored for grammar, vocabulary, naturalness, and task completion, with gentle corrections • Your Library: scenes save automatically with their full conversation — reopen any scene and keep practicing • Save all of a scene's words to your Library with one tap • Scene photos stay on your device — they are never stored on our servers HOW IT WORKS • Scan printed text and tap any recognized word • Get a context-aware explanation, examples, and an optional translation • Save useful words, practice them later, and generate an age-appropriate learning image • On an adult profile, analyze a scene, tap labeled objects, and practice them in a tutor conversation WHO IT'S FOR • Language learners building practical vocabulary and conversation skills • Readers working through unfamiliar books and documents • Students, travelers, and multilingual households • Families who want separate reader profiles for different ages and languages SIX LANGUAGES • English • Türkçe • Svenska • Deutsch • Français • Español PRIVACY Text recognition runs on your device. For text suggestions and explanations, extracted text or the selected word and its context are sent to OpenAI. Scene photos are analyzed once and then kept only on your device — never stored on our servers. Tutor conversations are stored in your account so you can continue them later.
