LauMap

LauMap is the map for giveaways: furniture, books, plants and more that people pass on nearby, with photos, a location and the current status. On the street Things left outside for anyone to take appear on the map, so you can see what is still there before you set out. Spotted a giveaway on your walk? Post it so others can find it too. Pickup by arrangement Prefer to hand something over in person? Post it with photos and choose where to meet: at your home, or at a spot you pick, such as a street corner or a public place nearby. The public map shows an approximate area only, never the exact spot. One group chat per post Everyone interested joins the same chat instead of messaging one by one. The poster sees who has joined, when each person is available and what they would like pick up, and decides whom to accept. Because candidates are in one groupchat, a plan that falls through does not mean starting over. The exact address, and the doorbell if added, is shared only with the people the poster accepts, when the poster chooses. Stay in the loop Add confirmed pickups to your calendar. Follow areas to be notified about new posts, and get notified about new messages in your group chats. LauMap is a platform for people to share information. A pin does not mean items may be left or collected at that spot; please follow local rules for public space. You decide whether to go.
