About CeraScope
Chinese porcelain, with an auction price guide. See the past sales behind each paid report. Keep your collection book for free. CeraScope helps you explore Chinese ceramics, from a piece you have inherited to a collection you have built over years. AUCTION REFERENCES, WITH CONTEXT — PAID • Start with up to 6 photos, an auction-house lot URL or a written description. • AI helps fill in the details, including period, category, form, marks, size and condition. Check or correct them; 'not sure' is a valid answer. • Get an approximate auction reference price and a range, with a plain-language explanation of the comparisons and uncertainties. • Explore up to 3 key past sales, with the auction house, date, hammer result and original listing link. References draw on several hundred thousand Chinese-ceramics auction records, including sales at Sotheby's, Christie's and Bonhams. • Where available, see a same-type museum reference for form and style comparison only: no price and no authentication. • Keep a private history of your appraisals. YOUR COLLECTION, IN A PAPER BOOK — FREE • Add pieces directly or from a report. Browse dynasty volumes and category ribbons, with page turns inspired by a traditional bound book. • Keep photos, dimensions, motifs, acquisition details and linked appraisals in one record. Record your own condition grade. • Create collector cards with on-device background removal, themed borders and a subtle sheen that responds to tilting your phone. • Share a card image. Purchase price, source and catalogue number are hidden by default; you choose what to include. • Search, filter and sort your collection. Export and import backups. • Explore 72 introductions to ceramic categories and kilns, illustrated with museum examples on empty pages. Your collection lives on your device. You choose what to share or export. Photos and details you submit for an appraisal are sent for online AI analysis. Collection does not require a subscription. PAST AUCTION TRENDS Explore annual median results for 2010–2025, with filters by price tier, category and period. These are historical records, not forecasts. Available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND Analysis is AI-generated and may be wrong. Results are for reference only: they do not confirm age or authenticity, provide a formal valuation or predict what your piece will sell for. A specialist should examine the piece in person for advice about authenticity or selling. CeraScope is independent of the auction houses and museums cited. CREDITS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS Each appraisal that produces a reference price uses 1 credit. If a price cannot be supported, no credit is used. Choose from 3 credit-pack sizes or an optional monthly subscription with appraisal credits. Credits bought in packs never expire. See the purchase screen for the current full pack price or monthly charge, included credits and subscription-credit rules. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The monthly subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Buying a subscription is not required to use Collection.
