Memoria Palace

About Memoria Palace

Memoria Palace helps you remember anything using the Method of Loci — the ancient "memory palace" technique. Build a place you know by heart, drop vivid images along a route, and walk it in your mind to recall it all. This version includes: - Memory palaces & loci — build a familiar route and mark memorable spots (loci) in order, each with a name, note, and photo. - Topics — attach what you want to learn to each locus with a vivid, sensory association. - AI-assisted mnemonic images — turn an association into a striking image. Either hand the prompt off to a chat app (ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity), or generate it in-app with your own API key (OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, xAI), or the free no-key option. Your API keys are stored securely on your device (iOS Keychain) and are sent only to the provider you choose. - In-app photo cropper — reframe, zoom, and crop a locus photo without leaving the app (square by default, with other shapes available). - Spaced-repetition practice — review palaces and topics on a schedule that adapts to how well you recall them; do well and they come back less often. - Streaks that respect the method — your streak counts the days you stay caught up. On days when nothing is due, it simply holds — you're never punished for a quiet day — and it only breaks if you actually miss a due review. - Review calendar & daily reminder — see your practice history at a glance and get an optional reminder, only on days you still have something to review. - Schedules that stay honest — change a term, an image, or a palace's loci and that item's review schedule restarts so you re-learn the new version. - A first-run welcome guide, a Learn section explaining the technique and how scheduling works, and light/dark themes.
