FlyGuyAI

Hit the water with confidence. FlyGuyAI uses artificial intelligence and real-time environmental data to help you fish smarter on every outing. Built for Colorado anglers, but continuously expanding. 1) Real-Time Conditions: Get live weather, barometric pressure trends, water temperature from nearby USGS gauges, and river flow data — all in one glance. Know exactly what the water is doing before you make your first cast. 2) AI-Powered Fly Recommendations: Receive fly pattern suggestions matched to current hatches, water conditions, season, and elevation. Includes detailed rig setups with tippet size, depth, and presentation tips. 3) Water Analysis & Zone Detection: Use your phone's camera to scan the water. AI identifies potential fish-holding zones — seams, eddies, pools, and structure — with fly and casting guidance for each spot. 4) Colorado Hatch Chart: A comprehensive 12-month hatch calendar mapped by elevation so you always know what's hatching on your local water. [more states coming soon] 5) Rig Evaluation Snap a photo of your current setup and get AI feedback on whether your flies, weight, and rigging match the conditions. 6) Fishing Log Record your trips with photos, catches, conditions, and location. Pre-filled weather and flow data make logging fast and effortless. 7) Stocking Reports Stay up to date with the latest Colorado Parks & Wildlife stocking reports so you know where freshly stocked fish are waiting. 8) AR Heads-Up Display Hands-free fishing mode with real-time overlays and voice commands — perfect for wading anglers and compatible with smart glasses [in development].
