About Soupir: Rhythm Trainer
Learn to read and play rhythms, one exercise at a time. Soupir guides you from your first notes to more complex patterns, with clear instructions and feedback after every attempt. Ideal for practicing the rhythm readings from your music theory lessons at home. LISTEN, PLAY AND IMPROVE Follow the score, tap when each note starts, and hold longer notes when the exercise calls for it. Observe the rests and keep a steady beat. The course gradually introduces note values, rests, dotted notes, ties and triplets. UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU PLAY Look up symbols and their meanings in the music guide. Adjust the tempo and difficulty to suit your practice. Results and practical tips help you decide what to work on next. PRACTICE YOUR OWN RHYTHMS Build an exercise with the music keyboard or scan a passage of sheet music. Check the scan, correct it if needed, then practice. Recognition runs on your iPhone. Keep your exercises together in your library, with automatic titles you can edit. FOLLOW YOUR PROGRESS Track accuracy, tempo, and mistakes for each personal exercise. Browse individual sessions or see the bigger picture with daily and weekly averages. THE FULL COURSE IS FREE The whole course, the music guide and the bonus levels are free, with no account and no ads. You can also confirm one exercise you create and one exercise from a scan for free. These are separate allowances. You can replay both without limits; editing them after confirmation requires Soupir Plus, and deleting them does not reset the free allowance. SOUPIR PLUS Scan, create and edit as many exercises as you like, yearly or for life. The yearly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date; manage it in your Apple Account settings. If you already bought Soupir Plus, nothing changes. Users of earlier versions keep their full access. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy: https://soupir.app/privacy/ Available in English and French.
What’s new
Version 1.4.1 · Updated October 23, 2026
My rhythms opens normally again on affected iPhones. This update also improves practice with Bluetooth headphones and makes saved progress more resilient. • Bluetooth: the metronome and exercise playback now account for audio delay. Tap sounds are disabled with Bluetooth headphones to avoid delayed feedback, with a short explanation in Settings. • Reliability: fixed a crash when editing certain scores, and exercise playback that could start after being canceled. • Saving: unreadable progress is preserved instead of being replaced. If a practice session cannot be saved, you can retry from the results screen or My rhythms while the app remains open.
