What Day Is It Today? Fun Days

So, what day is it today? Maybe it's Pizza Day. Maybe it's Festival of Sleep Day, World Kindness Day or International Sloth Day. Every date on the calendar has something worth celebrating, and this app tells you what it is the second you open it. A NEW DAY, EVERY DAY Each morning brings a fresh, fun national day or international observance, with an emoji, a hashtag, a quick one-liner and a short story behind it. The silly ones, the sweet ones, the ones you never knew existed. It's the easiest conversation starter of the day. Every day also gets its own pastel background, patterned with that day's emojis, so no two days ever look alike. LOOK AHEAD, LOOK BACK • Swipe to peek at tomorrow or revisit yesterday • Tap the date to jump anywhere on the calendar • Search by name or by date: try "pizza" or "February 9" • With the search bar empty, browse a month calendar where every day shows its emoji YOUR OWN SPECIAL DAYS Add birthdays, anniversaries, your dog's adoption day, anything that matters to you. There's no limit. • Pick one or two emojis and get a custom emoji background • Add an optional note • Choose a background color • Calendar view: tap an empty day to add, long-press a saved day to edit or delete • Several days on the same date? No problem When the date comes around, your day comes first: the app, the morning notification and your widgets all show it instead of the world day. WIDGETS ON YOUR HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN See today's day without opening the app. Small and medium Home Screen widgets come in the day's own emoji pattern and color, and circular and rectangular Lock Screen widgets keep it one glance away (iOS 16 and later). A LITTLE HINT AT 10 A.M. If you turn on notifications, you'll get one every day at 10 a.m. your time. It doesn't give the answer away, just the day's emoji as a clue. On your own special days, it arrives with your day's name and note. Notifications are optional. ASK SIRI On iOS 16 and later, say "What day is it today with What Day Is It Today?" and Siri tells you, no tapping required. Your days also show up in Spotlight search. SAVE IT, SHARE IT • Tap the heart to add world days or your own days to Favorites • Share the page exactly as you see it, as an image without menus or ads, along with the day's name SYNCED WITH iCLOUD Your special days follow you to every iPhone and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account, and they come right back if you reinstall. MORE COLORS Want extra background colors? Watch one short, optional video ad and they unlock for good.
