Mantle is a place for parents to leave something real for their child — their voice, their words, their photos, the small moments that make up a life. So that one day, their child has something that really feels like them. The name comes from "mantle": a cloak, an inheritance, a covering. Something passed down, hand to hand. The app is built around that exact idea — what gets passed on, before time takes the chance. HOW IT WORKS Each day, Mantle gives you one quiet prompt — a question or memory cue — and asks you to record an answer. It can be a voice memo, a written note, a photo with a caption, or a short video. Just one moment. A few minutes a day, no more. Every entry files into a chapter — early childhood, holidays, advice, hard days, small joys, your own story before they were here, and so on. Over months and years, those entries become a book of you — in your voice, your words, your images. Something they can revisit at sixteen, at twenty-five, at fifty. WHY DAILY PROMPTS The hardest part of leaving something behind isn't deciding to do it — it's knowing what to say. Mantle removes that paralysis. The prompt for the day is already chosen.
