Detent Coffee

Detent scans your coffee bag and tells you exactly how to brew it. Point your camera at any bag — specialty roast, grocery find, or a gift from a friend — and Detent reads the label, identifies the coffee, and builds a custom grind setting and brew recipe on the spot. Calibrated to that specific bean. Calibrated to your grinder. SCAN ANY BAG Detent uses AI to extract what matters from a coffee label: roast level, origin, process, body, and flavor profile. In seconds, you get a grind setting matched to your equipment and a full brew recipe for your chosen method — drip, pour over, AeroPress, French press, espresso, cold brew, moka pot, percolator, Clever Dripper, Turkish, or siphon. BREW BY HAND, GUIDED No smart machine? Detent walks you through the pour. Start any manual method for a timed, step-by-step guide — bloom, pours, and pull — with your grind, dose, and water right on screen. Phone on the counter, hands on the kettle. YOUR COFFEE CABINET Every coffee you scan is saved automatically. Browse your collection, review brew profiles, and pull up any recipe when you're ready to brew again. Your cabinet grows with every bag you try. FELLOW AIDEN INTEGRATION Connect your Fellow Aiden smart brewer and send the brew profile straight to the device. Temperature, timing, pulse pours — pushed with one tap, no manual programming. BUILT FOR YOUR GRINDER Choose your grinder in Settings and every scan returns a setting specific to your equipment. Supports 20+ grinders, including Fellow Opus, Comandante C40, Baratza Encore, Timemore Chestnut C3, 1Zpresso J-Ultra, Niche Zero, and Mahlkönig EK43.
