Dancing somewhere on the fine line between burnout, work, development, and having a private life, Baixem development somehow still refuses to stop. There are still a few things we want to finish before we can officially declare ourselves Catalunya’s best public transport app. With Baixem 1.7, we’re filling in one of the gaps: alerts published directly by transport operators are now built into the app. • ALERTS: Open the new Alerts tab from the top bar and see how TMB, TRAM, AMB, FGC, and Rodalies services are doing. Has a line completely stopped running? It’ll appear with a red border. Other alerts will show up in orange, yellow, blue, or purple depending on their importance. Open a stop with an active alert and it will now appear expanded the first time you see it. Once you’ve seen it, it’ll be marked as read and remain accessible in a more subtle grey style. Does an alert affect one of your favorite lines? We’ll let you know, and the Alerts tab will jump out at you with a red highlight. And don’t worry about languages: we translate alerts from basically any language into any other supported language. On top of that, you’ll also find a generated summary at the top, so you can understand quickly and without reading an entire novel what exactly is happening around the city. • FAVORITES: From now on, your favorite lines and stops won’t just appear first while browsing the map, they finally have their own dedicated tab. Tap Favorites in the top bar and reach your favorite stops and lines even faster. Next, we want to bring all the shiny new things we’ve been spoiling iOS users with over to Android too, including the map. But don’t worry, we’ll be back very soon. And maybe navigation will help us find our way there. Wink wink.
