About Sovereign Logos Complete Bible

Sovereign Logos restores the Bible the apostles read. For three centuries after Christ, the Church read the Septuagint, the Greek Old Testament quoted throughout the New. Sovereign Logos brings that text back into your hands, alongside the King James Version, in a reader built for serious daily study. TRANSLATIONS, SIDE BY SIDE • Septuagint 2012 (modern English LXX) • Brenton's Septuagint (1851 LXX) • King James Version (1611) • Geneva Bible (1599), with the 1560 Geneva Apocrypha • World English Bible • The Book of Enoch (R. H. Charles, 1917) Compare any verse across translations with a single tap. See exactly where the Masoretic Text removed words the apostles read. THE SHIELD OF FAITH An optional morning gate built on Apple's Screen Time. Choose the apps that pull hardest and the morning hours to guard. During those hours the apps wait behind a short devotion. Finish your reading and they open for the day. Off by default and free, and your app choices and hours stay on your device. READING PLANS THAT KEEP GOING Start Bible in a Year on any day, or build your own plan: the whole Bible, a testament, a range of chapters, or the books you pick, at your pace and on your days. Each plan gets its own tab on Daily. Listen to today's chapters back to back, check them off, and when a plan ends, let it continue through the rest of the testament or the Bible. DAILY READING WITH AUDIO A four-section daily reading covering the entire Bible: Old Testament, Psalm, Proverb, New Testament. Audio for every chapter in a clear masculine voice, with lock-screen, Bluetooth, AirPods, and CarPlay controls. Opening the Daily tab never starts audio on its own; you press play when you're ready. CHRISTIAN CLASSICS AND THE CATECHISM Read public domain Christian classics chapter by chapter, starting with The Imitation of Christ. Luther's Small Catechism is included, along with Joseph Stump's full 1907 question-and-answer explanation. PRAYERS AND REMINDERS Prayers, psalms, canticles, and the creeds, with optional verse-of-the-day and prayer reminders at the times you choose. TAP A NAME, SEE THE FAMILIAR FORM The older Septuagint editions spell many names the old way: "Achaab", "Esaias", "Nabuchodonosor". Tap one and a small card shows the name you already know: Ahab, Isaiah, Nebuchadnezzar. Over 600 names are mapped. RESTORATION MARKERS Wherever the Masoretic Text removed verses or chapters present in the Septuagint, Sovereign Logos marks the restored text. The Book of Esther, for example, is restored in full, including the six chapters cut by later editors. YOUR NOTES, YOUR BACKUP Long-press any verse to bookmark it, highlight it, or write a note. Your notes live on your device, and you can export everything to one backup file and restore it on another device. No account is required, ever. STUDY TOOLS • Tap any word to define it with the free Webster's 1828 add-on • 343,000 cross-references between verses • Read-aloud with the active verse highlighted • Search across translations • Red-letter New Testament • Dark, Light, and Sepia themes with adjustable type Sovereign Logos is built for the long view. No subscriptions. No ads. No account. No cross-app tracking. Just scripture, the way it was read for 1,500 years before the Reformation chose a redacted text. @SovereignLogos

What’s new

Version 2.0 · Updated September 22, 2026

THE SHIELD OF FAITH An optional morning gate for your iPhone, built on Apple's Screen Time. Choose the apps that pull hardest and the morning hours to guard. During those hours the apps wait behind a short devotion in Sovereign Logos. Finish your reading and they open for the day. You pick which reading lifts the Shield: any reading goal, the Bible in a Year devotional, or one of your plans. It is off by default and free, and your app choices and hours stay on your device. YOUR OWN READING PLANS, ON DAILY Build a plan: the whole Bible, the Old or New Testament, a range of chapters, or the books you pick. Set the pace by chapters per day or a finish date, choose your reading days, and run more than one track side by side. Each plan gets its own tab on Daily next to Bible in a Year, with today's chapters, your progress, and anything to catch up on. Check a chapter off in Daily or the Library and both stay in sync. "Listen to today's reading" plays the day's chapters back to back. PLANS THAT KEEP GOING Choose what happens when a plan finishes: stop, continue with the rest of the testament, or continue with the rest of the Bible, at the same pace. Bible in a Year can now start on any day. CHRISTIAN CLASSICS A new shelf of public domain Christian classics, read chapter by chapter with a progress bar. It opens with The Imitation of Christ by Thomas à Kempis. THE CATECHISM, EXPLAINED Luther's Small Catechism is in the Library, and Joseph Stump's full 1907 question-and-answer explanation of it is now its own book in Christian Classics. A REDESIGNED LIBRARY The Library is now two sections of cards. My stuff holds Recent, Bookmarks, Highlights, Notes, and Cards. Explore holds Plans, Watch, Prayers, Catechism, Classics, Images, and the Shield. BACKUPS YOU CONTROL Export your progress, streaks, badges, bookmarks, highlights, notes, cards, prayers, and plans to one file. Save it to Files, a cloud drive, or email, and restore it on another device. No account needed. You can also turn on automatic backups to a folder you choose. PRAYERS AND REMINDERS More prayers, psalms, canticles, and creeds, including the mealtime blessings. Add as many prayer reminders as you like, each at its own time with the prayer you pick. VOICEOVER Daily and the Reader no longer stall under VoiceOver. Each verse is read as one item, and tapping a word to define it works as before. FIXES • Your daily streak no longer resets, and past reading days are rebuilt from your reading history. • Finishing today's reading in any of your plans counts toward your daily streak, even when you read it in the Reader. • Fixed a crash when starting audio playback on iOS 26.
